Create the project you need
A portfolio, a booking service, an internal dashboard or a business application starts with your brief. Explain who will use it, what they should be able to do and how it should look.
Use Code to discuss an approach, review a plan or ask for implementation. Inspect the files and preview, then ask for a specific change. Your project requirements guide the work.
Give an agent a useful job
Use Agents for research and tasks involving connected services. State the expected result, the information to use and the actions that need approval.
For work you repeat, configure an agent with instructions, tools, skills and relevant memory. Review its execution history rather than treating a chat response as proof that an external action happened.
Connect accounts when the task needs them
Code and Agents can use connected tools. Native project integrations and MCP connections serve different purposes: source control, databases and hosting are project services; MCP exposes the tools an authorized service makes available.
An account connection does not grant permission for every action. Review the proposed access and any pending approval before the agent continues.
Keep the next step clear
Start with one result you can check: a working page, a research summary with sources or a draft in a connected tool. Review it, then add the next requirement. Credits, model access, preview time and connected-service limits still apply.
- Build a site or application in Code.
- Research or carry out a connected task in Agents.
- Read the documentation when a workflow asks for an account connection.
