These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a contract between you and Edeverse, the company that operates MaShop at mashop.app. Please read them. They cover your account, how Credits and billing work, who owns what, and what each of us is responsible for.
1. Introduction and acceptance
Edeverse operates MaShop, an AI builder that generates commerce applications from your prompts.
You accept these Terms when you create an account. The signup page asks you to confirm your acceptance and links to this page. If you use MaShop on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company.
These Terms work together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and the AI Charter.
2. Definitions
- Credits: prepaid usage units you spend on AI generation and related platform features. One Credit corresponds to $0.01 of usage value.
- Generated Code: the code and content MaShop produces for you in response to your prompts.
- Merchant App: the application built from Generated Code that you deploy to accounts you control, such as your own code repository, your own hosting provider, and your own database project.
- Workspace: the MaShop builder at mashop.app where you prompt, edit, preview, and deploy.
- Plan: your subscription tier. The current Plans are Free, Pro, and Max.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use MaShop.
You agree to give accurate information when you sign up and to keep it current. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password confidential. Two-factor authentication is available in your account settings, and we recommend turning it on.
Tell us at contact@edeverse.com if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
4. License to use MaShop
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Workspace under these Terms and your Plan. This license covers the builder only. It does not transfer any ownership in the MaShop platform to you.
MaShop hosts the Workspace. We do not host your Merchant App or your storefront. You deploy your Merchant App to infrastructure you control, and its business data lives primarily in your own database project.
5. Restrictions and acceptable use
You agree not to:
- interfere with or disrupt the Workspace, probe its security without our written permission, or bypass usage limits or access controls;
- access the Workspace with scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools outside the interfaces we provide;
- resell, rent, or share access to your account or to the Workspace;
- use MaShop to build Merchant Apps for illegal commerce, including selling prohibited goods, fraud, or infringement of other people's rights;
- create multiple accounts or manipulate signups to farm trial allowances, promotional Credits, or referral rewards. We run anti-fraud checks at signup and may withhold promotional allowances where we detect abuse;
- upload malicious code or use MaShop to harm others.
We may investigate suspected violations and act under section 8.
6. Plans, Credits, fees and payments
MaShop pricing is usage-based. Each AI request consumes Credits in proportion to the computing work it requires. Larger tasks consume more Credits. One Credit corresponds to $0.01 of usage value. Your balance and usage history appear in your Workspace settings.
Plans
- Free: $0. No monthly Credit allowance. Includes up to 3 deployments per day.
- Pro: $20 per month. Includes 2,000 Credits per month and no deployment cap.
- Max: $100 per month. Includes 12,000 Credits per month and no deployment cap.
Plan Credits refresh each billing cycle. Unused Plan Credits do not roll over to the next cycle. Paid Plans renew monthly until you cancel. If you cancel, your Plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then stops renewing.
Top-ups
You can buy additional Credits in amounts from $10 to $1,000. Larger top-ups receive bonus Credits:
- $50 or more: 5% bonus
- $100 or more: 10% bonus
- $250 or more: 15% bonus
- $500 or more: 20% bonus
- $1,000: 25% bonus
Top-up Credits, including bonus Credits, are valid for 12 months from the purchase date. We spend your oldest top-up Credits first. Credits still unused at the end of the 12 months are removed from your balance.
Trial
New accounts get a small one-time trial allowance so you can try generation before paying. The trial covers a limited amount of usage and is available once per account.
Payment and price changes
Billing is processed by our payment provider. Your purchase may also be subject to that provider's terms. Credits are not money, do not earn interest, and cannot be redeemed for cash. We may change prices or Plan allowances. If we do, we will give you notice before the change applies to you, and changes will not apply retroactively to Credits you already bought.
7. Refunds, Credit forfeiture, withdrawal
Fees for subscriptions and top-ups are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. Credits are prepaid, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash. A Credit is consumed when the AI performs the work you requested, based on the resources used, whatever the outcome: Credits spent on a generation are not restored, even if the Generated Code contains errors or you ask for a regeneration. If you believe we billed you in error, email contact@edeverse.com and we will review it. Nothing in this section removes a refund, cancellation, or withdrawal right that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for purchases made at a distance. For digital services, you can ask us to start during the withdrawal period. If you then withdraw, you owe a proportionate amount for what was delivered before you withdrew. The right ends once the service has been fully performed with your prior express agreement. Nothing in these Terms removes refund or withdrawal rights that consumer law grants you.
If we terminate your account for your breach of these Terms, remaining promotional or Plan Credits may be forfeited to the extent the law allows. Consumers keep their statutory rights.
8. Term, suspension, termination
These Terms apply from your signup until your account is closed.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if we detect fraud or abuse, or if your fees remain unpaid. We may also do so if the law requires it, or to protect the security of the platform or other users. Where reasonable, we will notify you and give you a chance to fix the problem first.
You can stop using MaShop and delete your projects at any time. Only the project owner can delete a project. When a project is deleted, we delete its GitHub repository and its Netlify site through your connected accounts, where those connections are still active. We do not delete your own Supabase project. It stays under your control, with your business data, and you can keep it or remove it yourself.
We do not currently offer self-serve account deletion. Email contact@edeverse.com and we will help.
9. Service dependencies and availability
MaShop runs on third-party services, including AI inference providers, cloud hosting and database providers, code hosting services, deployment platforms, email delivery services, and a payment provider. See the Privacy Policy for how data flows to these categories of providers.
We do not offer an uptime guarantee or a service level agreement. We use reasonable efforts to keep the Workspace available, but interruptions can happen, including interruptions caused by providers we do not control.
10. AI output
Generated Code is a draft. Review and test it before you rely on it. It can contain errors, omissions, or security weaknesses. Similar prompts can produce similar output for different users, so Generated Code may not be unique to you.
You own the Generated Code we produce for you. We push it to a repository created on your own account, so it is in your hands from the start. You are responsible for how you use it, including compliance of your Merchant App with the laws that apply to your business.
Our commitments on AI use are described in the AI Charter.
11. Your content and data
You keep all rights in the prompts, text, images, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content only to operate the Workspace for you, to enforce these Terms, and to meet our legal obligations.
Do not include sensitive personal data in prompts, such as health data, payment card numbers, or government identifiers. Do not paste passwords, API keys, or other secrets into prompts.
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. We do not currently offer in-product data export. Email contact@edeverse.com and we will help.
12. Infrastructure and AI providers
To generate output, your prompts, project context, and Generated Code pass to third-party AI infrastructure providers that run the models. Those providers process this data under their own terms. Categories of providers and the related data flows are described in the Privacy Policy.
We may change providers. Changes that materially affect how your data is handled will be reflected in the Privacy Policy.
13. Ownership and feedback
Edeverse owns the MaShop platform, including the Workspace, its software, its design, and its documentation. Nothing in these Terms transfers that ownership to you.
You own your content and your Generated Code, as described in sections 10 and 11.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them to operate and improve MaShop, without obligation to you.
14. Warranty disclaimers
MaShop is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Workspace will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that Generated Code will be accurate or fit for your intended use.
If you are a consumer, this section does not remove warranty rights the law of your country grants you and that cannot be waived. For consumers in France, this includes the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services.
15. Indemnification
If you use MaShop for business, you agree to defend Edeverse and compensate us for third-party claims arising from your Merchant App. That includes claims about the goods and services it sells, its customers, the payment providers it connects to, and the data it processes. It also includes claims arising from your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.
If you use MaShop as a consumer, this section applies only to the extent permitted by the law of your country.
16. Limitation of liability
For business users, our total liability arising out of or relating to MaShop or these Terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
If you are a consumer, the cap above does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Senegal. Any dispute that we cannot resolve together goes to the competent courts of Dakar, Senegal.
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, including the right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
Before starting formal proceedings, contact us at contact@edeverse.com and describe the dispute. We will try to resolve it with you within 30 days.
18. Copyright and illegal-content reports
If you believe content on mashop.app, or a project built with MaShop, infringes your rights or is illegal, email contact@edeverse.com. Include the URL, a description of the issue, and your contact details. We review reports and remove or disable access to content where appropriate. Reports are handled by email; we do not operate a formal takedown-agent program.
19. Miscellaneous
- Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. We will give notice of material changes by email or in the product before they take effect. If you keep using MaShop after that date, the updated Terms apply.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
- Severability. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- Notices. We send notices to the email address on your account. Legal notices to us go to contact@edeverse.com.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and the AI Charter are the whole agreement between you and Edeverse about MaShop.
