The shop runs on your GitHub repository, your Vercel or Netlify project, your Supabase database. MaShop never sits between you and your buyer, so it takes no percentage of what you sell. Your payment provider still charges its normal processing rate. That is the only cut on the sale.
This also means the day you want to change something we did not think of, you open the file and change it. An ecommerce website creator that keeps the source behind a login cannot offer that.

Prices checked on the Shopify and Wix pricing pages in July 2026. Shopify Basic is $39 per month billed monthly, $29 on annual billing, with a 2% fee on Basic if you use a payment gateway other than Shopify Payments. Wix Business is $39 per month on annual billing and $46 billed monthly. Both are capable platforms. The difference here is where the code ends up, not who is better at hosting.
Questions people ask before they start
Can AI generate a working cart and checkout?+
Yes, and that is the part worth checking before you trust any tool. MaShop generates the cart, the checkout, the tax and shipping rules, and connects them to the payment provider you choose. You can place a test order before you show anyone the link.
Which AI builder handles product variants and stock?+
MaShop does. Sizes, colours, bundles, digital downloads. Stock counts move when an order comes in, and the storefront hides what ran out. Generic app builders usually stop at a product list with one price.
Does this ecommerce website builder export full source code?+
There is nothing to export. The code is written straight into your own GitHub repository as it goes. You can clone it, read it, and edit it in your own editor while the shop is live.
Is there an AI store builder with no transaction fees?+
MaShop charges for the building, not for your sales. We never see your revenue, so we cannot take a share of it. Your payment processor still charges its own rate, which is unavoidable on any platform.
Can I build an online store without a Shopify monthly fee?+
You can. You will still pay for hosting and a database, and both have entry tiers at $0 for a small shop. MaShop is billed in credits for what you generate rather than a rent on the store staying online.
Does it work as an AI website builder for restaurant online ordering?+
Yes. Describe the restaurant and you get menu sections, item options, opening hours and an order flow built for pickup or delivery, not a product catalog pretending to be a menu.
Can it generate a booking site for a service business?+
Yes. Services, durations, availability and a calendar. A salon, a photographer or a driving instructor gets a booking flow rather than an add to cart button.
Does the AI ecommerce builder use a Supabase backend?+
It does. MaShop creates a Supabase project in your own account, applies the schema and connects it. The database is yours, with your own credentials, from the start.
What do ecommerce platforms for small businesses usually miss?+
The exit. Getting started is easy everywhere. Leaving is the expensive part, once your catalog, your customers and your custom work live in a system you cannot take with you. A small business online store built as code moves when you move.
